Privacy Policy

CelloPad is a music app for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it.

In short: CelloPad doesn’t collect, store or share any personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

Information CelloPad collects

None. CelloPad doesn’t send any information about you or how you use the app to its developer or to anyone else. It contains no analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or tracking code from any third party.

What stays on your device

Purchases

CelloPad Pro is bought through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles the payment and your Apple Account; CelloPad never sees your name, email address or payment details. The app only asks Apple whether Pro has been bought on your Apple Account, so it can unlock it. Apple’s handling of purchases is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

MIDI

If you turn on MIDI, CelloPad sends and receives notes with other music apps on your device, or with a Mac over your local network. That connection is directly between your devices; nothing passes through any server, and the developer receives nothing.

Ratings and links

CelloPad may occasionally ask you to rate it, using Apple’s standard rating prompt, which Apple handles. The Website link in Settings opens cellopad.com in your browser, where the website’s own practices apply.

Children

CelloPad is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children.

Your rights

As CelloPad holds no personal data about you, there’s nothing to access, correct, export or delete. If you have questions about your privacy, including under data protection laws such as the GDPR, please get in touch.

Changes to this policy

If CelloPad’s handling of information ever changes, this page will be updated before the change reaches the app, with a new date below.

Contact

CelloPad is made by Tim Halloran in Berlin, Germany. For any questions about this policy, email cellopad@theelliscourt.com.
